Secondary Runway – 08/26

• east/west
• 1400m x 30m
• 7.5 tonne maximum take off weight (MTOW) limit
• Pilots are requested not to use runway 08 - take off to the East unless it is operationally necessary due to the direction and strength of the wind
• There are no nighttime operations on the East West runway as permanent runway lights are not available
• A visual approach slope indicator system (PAPI) available
• A non-precision approach (GPS) is available
  

Runway Lighting

• Runway Lighting (PAL + AFRV) is available and may be activated on the CTAF (127.3). this procedure also activates the PAPI.
